The Philadelphia 76ers are looking for takers for point guard Andre Miller in order to give prospect Louis Williams more playing time. This means, fantasy basketball owners should be keeping Miller on the bench. Dropping him might be an option if you aren't in need of assists, but if Miller gets traded he could see a big boost in numbers with a new team.
It's no secret that Kobe Bryant wants out of Los Angeles. Even coach Phil Jackson has made public statements agreeing with Kobe's concern about the direction the team is headed. The Phoenix Suns are close to landing NBA star Kevin Garnett. The Suns would send forward Amare Stoudemire to the Atlanta Hawks; the Minnesota Timberwolves would receive Atlanta's 3rd and 11th pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, as well as ZaZa Pachulia and Anthony Johnson and the Suns would receive Kevin Garnett.
Atlanta guard Joe Johnson, who left Phoenix with low regard for Stoudemire, said he'd welcome the trade.

The Memphis Grizzlies are apparently asking for less now in exchange for Pau Gasol. The Chicago Bulls still seem like the team most likely to land Gasol. Originally, the Grizzlies were asking for Luol Deng and Ben Gordon along with P.J. Brown's expiring contract and a draft pick. Now, it seems they'll settle for Deng or Gordon and another young player like Thabo Sefolosha and a draft pick.
