2008 Western Conference Fantasy NBA All Stars

Well, we didn't hold a vote for folks this year, so instead we're just going to tell you what which players we think are most deserving of the honor of top fantasy contributors.  So, without further adeu, here's how the Western Conference roster should look if players are measured solely on fantasy merit.

Starters

C. Marcus Camby, Denver Nuggets
I know what you're thinking.  "What about Amare Stoudemire and Yao Ming?" They're both having great seasons, but when you have a big man averaging 14.1 rbpg, 3.1 apg, 3.8 bspg and only 1.4 topg, it's tough to pass him up.  Plus, Camby's been healthy this year!

F.  Shawn Marion, Phoenix Suns
His numbers have dropped from last season, but he's still one of the top fantasy contributors in roto leagues that include turnovers.  He's averaging 16.0 ppg, 10.3 rbpg, 1.9 spg, 1.8 bspg, 1.2 treys per game, and just 1.1 topg, all while shooting 52% from the field.

F.  Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
He started the season slow, but has really picked things up of late.  On the year, he's averaging 22.2 ppg, 8.4 rbpg, while shooting 48% from the field and 86% from the line.  He's also only committing 2.2 topg.

G.  Chris Paul, New Orleans Hornets

Paul's been a monster this season, surpassing Jason Kidd and Steve Nash as the top fantasy point guard in the league. He's averaging 21.4 ppg, 10.4 apg, 2.8 spg, while shooting 49% from the field and 88% from the line and committing only 2.7 topg.

G.  Kobe Bryant, LA Lakers
Kobe's putting up typical Kobe numbers, with a slight dip in scoring.  27.6 ppg, 5.8 rbpg, 5.0 apg, 2.1 spg, 1.8 treys per game.
