Its still early in the season, but not so early that I cannot start venting about the less than stellar performance some players are putting up. Here is a list of some of the players I had high hopes for going into this season, but up until this point am quite disapointed in. In no particular order...

1. Dirk Nowitzki - Dirk is like the North Start of fantasy basketball. He has his minor ups and downs, but he normally remains a solid fixture in the top 10. Right now he sits at about 21 by averages. Lets hope he picks it up.
2. Luol Deng - Deng finished in the top 25 for totals last year for all Fantasy players. Right now he is ranked close to 90 by averages. If you are like me, you figured Deng would establish himself as a top 15-20 fantasy player this year.
3. Vince Carter - Well Carter got his contract last year, and true to form, this year his performance has not been on the same plain as the last two years. He currently stands ranked at 30 by averages.
4. Andre Iguodala - After Allen Iverson left Philly someone had to pick up the slack by putting up points and putting butts in the seats. It looked like Iguodala would be just the man to do it, but his performance has not lived up expectations. He does spread out his stats, but he sits at number 40 based on averages right now.
5. Dwayne Wade - Wade's stats right now aren't so bad, until you look at his 4.6 turnovers per game. I always thought he was overrated since he doesn't hit many threes, but he sits at 59 by averages so far this year.
